The trainer behind the dogs that make a difference.

Ryan CambioMeet our Head Trainer

Ryan Cambio CPDT-KA

Ryan began working with dogs in 2006 in rural Ohio, volunteering for the local humane society. It was there that he developed an interest in the training side of things, when he saw wonderful dogs that weren’t being adopted, primarily because of minor behavioral issues. After continuing his work at the humane society and other local rescues, he began volunteering for a small service dog organization, located in southeast Ohio. During his work there, he became very ill and was soon diagnosed with serious hypoglycemia, and a heart arrhythmia. After learning about service dogs, he sought to obtain one through the organization he working for, but learned that most organizations wouldn’t place a dog with an individual who had multiple disabilities. It was then that through his own needs, he realized the vast need for dual-trained service dogs for people with multiple disabilities.
Still living in Ohio in 2013, he founded K9 Lifeline, which became Lifeline Assistance Dogs; an organization founded on the need for highly trained dogs that can do nearly anything, and help nearly anyone. Shortly after beginning Lifeline Assistance Dogs, he relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, where the organization continued to grow.

Ryan also works with his personal dogs in animal acting and modeling with Arizona Animal Actors. To date, his dogs have been on the front door of PetsMart stores across the country, in commercials, video shoots, and dozens of print ads. His Rottweiler, Aero, is breaking breed stereotypes all over and is an exceptional therapy dog, working with children and adults in domestic violence shelters in Phoenix. He has also competed in conformation, agility, tracking, obedience, rally and more.
