We are looking for a canine training superstar to join us for this exciting

Job Responsibilities: This position is responsible for facilitating the overall successful of our
service dog training program from start to finish. You will be responsible
for training dogs through several different phases which includes
obedience and public access to more advanced tasks based on our
protocols and standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include
but are not limited to:
• Oversight of dog acquisition and training candidates, including
testing and evaluation
• Overall management and execution of the training program in
accordance with organization guidelines and those set forth by
Assistance Dogs International
• Creation and maintenance of any needed processes, instruction
manuals, and materials to ensure the organization training
program is up to date and competitive with other agencies and
organizations providing similar support
• Maintenance of each canine’s medical, training and evaluation
records as per our policies and procedures
• Client training, support, and outreach

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CGC Evaluator
• CPDT-KA (Certified Pet Dog Trainer Knowledge Assessed)
• 3-5 years of experience in Assistance Dog training, preferably with
an ADI accredited organization or agency
• Successful completion of background check
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• General competency in office equipment and computer equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• High-level attention to detail
• Ability to maintain very high level of confidentiality
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
